Sony’s U.S. Debut Of Android SmartWatch

Yesterday Sony released their Android compatible SmartWatch. The phone has been available in the UK for a month and has made its way to the U.S. marketplace.

The watch allows you to interface with your texts, music, e-mails and social networks, all from the convenient of your wrist. It uses Bluetooth 3.0 technology to connect to your Android 2.0+ smartphone.

The video below paints a portrait of a lifestyle in which the SmartWatch is fully integrated. Still, it’s hard to imagine the benefit on reading a new text message on my watch, if I have to pull out my phone to text back.

The Sony Store online is selling now while retailers will soon follow.
